If we had a nickel for everytime we were promised a barbecue, a dinner or to see the new furniture, well we wouldn't be rich but we would have many nickels!  We enter our customers lives through a referral or through our own marketing successes and are there for them when they are going through a transition in their lives. There is not enough room to list all of the scenarios but Divorce, Job Transfer, Up or Downsizing are just a few.

When I was new in the business, I remember hearing agents who said, my customers invited me here or I invited them to this event but the reality is that there are very few agents who end up mixing their Real Estate lives with their home lives. It is not that we don't want to be a part of their lives but the reality is, that we are not.

Our goal is and has always been to be there when your customers are ready to make a move. We also want to be the first name that pops into their heads when they have a friend or relative that is looking to buy or sell. This is done through staying in touch with our customers. It is a very easy concept yet many Realtors forget this crucial step and although they hear the term, "Customers for Life" over and over again, they don't practice this.
