Do you Know your Impact?

You are told from the very beginning that you start a career in Real Estate. Follow up with your customers. They will be your source for being successful in the business. Referrals are your lifeblood. But, like many Realtors do, they get sidetracked.

Recently, I had an experience where a customer tracked me down. She sent me an email and gave me an update on their house, their lives and what everyone was up to. It was like getting a letter from a long lost friend.

We often don't realize the impact we have had on our customers lives. When you do a good job for them, they remember you. We still need to do our part but it is great to know that they wouldn't think of doing a transaction without you.

Included in her email was a lead for a Real Estate agent. She met someone at her job that was looking to hang his license with a company and she thought of me...Wow!

Following up with a customer is like eating right. You know what you have to do but you don't always do it.
