Agents go through this all the time. Do I take the listing at a price that I know is too high with the hopes that the Seller will come to their senses or do I stand my ground and be strong when I tell them that they are crazy. Take it from me...tell them. It saves you and the customer a great deal of time. Otherwise, you are only going through the motions. Being honest with a customer is what sets you apart from others and makes you a true professional.
If you gain a reputation for being a straight shooter and telling it like it is...always, then you will gain the respect of customers and agents alike.
