The Greatest Story Ever Told is Biblical for some, Theatrical for others, and personal for some. If you were to ask people their favorite story, you would have a wide range of responses. In Real Estate, the greatest story ever told is only a great story if you have someone to tell it to. If a tree is for sale in the forest and there isn't a Realtor there to list it, is it really for sale?
Recruiting is a term that is used by companies or individuals that defines the act of adding additional people to their company or cause. We recruit for Realtors, we recruit volunteers for a charity walk and we recruit people to represent our armed forces. people in general don't talk about, "I got recruited". In fact, I would say that people don't want to feel like they have been recruited. We all like the attention we receive when someone tells us that they have noticed us for our hard work, our accomplishments or even earning potential but it has to be sincere.
Recruiting individuals has to be for a mutual gain for both sides. The recruiter has to gain a value added member of their team while the recruited must add something to their quality of life either in increased profit or daily satisfaction.
From a recruiting perspective, it is often challenging to get in front of individuals in order to tell your story.
