What's in a Name?

Marketing

If your last name is, "Sail", it wouldn't be too difficult to come up with something catchy for marketing yourself. Hirschhorn creates a little bitter tougher scenario! As a new agent, all you have to do is browse through the hundreds of Realtor ads to get some ideas. Coming up with a play on your name or catchy slogan will help to set you apart from the thousands of other agents in your market place.

I am sure that there are agents who look online to see what agents are using in other markets as well. If there is an agent in California using, "Your Waterfront Connection", if you were in Florida, odds are that you could also use this without any problems. I am not aware of many agents who trademark their slogans. (Not a bad idea though).

Coming up with a slogan allows customers to instantly recognize you in a crowded market. Experts will tell you that carrying this theme throughout all of your advertising mediums will help gain you market share and recognition. Be Creative!

James Svoboda

Hi Jim,

Svoboda is a little tough as well!

Jim Hirschhorn

Us Jim's have to stay together. How many times do you spell it per day?

James Svoboda

The worst is with the phone solicitors! They almost never get it right and usually are a waste of time. Ahhh, what would it be like to have an easy name like Smith?

Jim Hirschhorn

You would hate having a name like Smith. I think it makes us stand out from the crowd! Do you have a cathcy slogan for your name? Svoboda knows the troubles I've seen...something fun!
