Open Houses, Oh My. Agents take 2 stances on them. Some agents are under the impression that they don't work and they simply don't do them and other agents figure that if they keep plugging away, they will eventually get buyers or even better, an offer on their house. Open houses are a great way for agents to generate business. One of the advertising items I saw recently was a helium balloon on a really long string! It is kite Flying extraordinairre. What a great Idea!
The Beauty of a Balloon is that it can be seen much further than just street level. You can pick a shape that they have or even customize your own idea. One that says, "Open House" or even, "Come Take a Look!"
Large Balloons are something different and something different creates curiosity among Customers. In this case, Curiosity did not kill anyone, even the deal.

Of course, here in Orange County, Florida, they are looking to change the ordinances for signs so make sure to check with your local ordinances before purchasing anything.
