Saving items to your drafts folder:
There are many pieces of information that we send continuously to our clients, before, during and after a sale. Rather than retyping the info every time you need it, just save a copy of it to your drafts folder. From there you can select it and forward it to your client – fast and easy!
Steps to save:
1. Open a new message window (just like you were going to email your client)
2. Type in a subject line (for example “Understanding Florida Property Taxes”
3. Type the information (or cut and paste it from another source)
4. Click on the close window box in the upper right corner (X)
5. A pop up dialog box will ask you if you would like to save changes
6. Click yes (a copy will be placed in your Drafts folder)
Steps To Use:
1. Click on your drafts folder
2. Locate the email that you would like to send
3. Click on forward (this is important! If you just open it as opposed to
“forwarding” it, it will remove it from your drafts folder.
4. A new message window will appear
5. Fill in recipients email address
6. Edit any of the body you would like to edit
7. Click send
I use this for all different pieces of information to send clients:
1. lender referrals
2. Insurance referrals
3. explaining property taxes
4. explaining cdd’s
5. what is escrow?
6. Utility links (so they can turn on or off utilities) (this varies by area)
7. Explaining portability
8. Explaining homestead exemption (and fraud)
9. Follow up scripts
10. Things that families can do in Tampa when coming in to buy a home
11. Hotels to stay at
12. Directions to the office
13. What to expect when working with me as an out of town buyer and
your role for a successful trip
14. School links
These are just a few ideas to make corresponding quick and easy so you can get on to enjoying your life and family! I constantly am adding more items. If you would like me to forward any of these, let me know. You can then edit them to suit your style and save them to your drafts folder.
