Reach Out and Touch Many People Electronically
The demands of being a successful agent these days are immense and sometimes overwhelming. Contact management systems are critical to staying in touch with customers and prospects. A good system, like the one we offer as part of the Real Living Agent Business Center, will keep you in front of everyone on a regular basis, in a way that offers value and is delivered with style. And you don’t even have to remember to do it!
In the last week of the month we get a reminder email that the next month’s eNewsletter is ready to be customized. Usually I go in and take about 20 minutes preparing a short market update. This is as simple as logging in to my web-based business center and typing what I want to say. It gets automatically added as the opening message to a very content-rich newsletter that is also populated with happy, good-looking people enjoying the Real Estate buying or selling process.
This month, I got very busy and actually forgot to do in and add my opening remarks. The newsletter went out anyway to my entire contact list. As usual, I got responses from people that I would never have time to call or write an e-mail to. At the same time, they felt that they received something valuable or at the very least entertaining, from me. And it works. A few months ago I heard from a buyer that I had worked with over two years ago. At the time h e got frustrated and decided to stop looking. He sent me an e-mail telling me that he read my newsletter every month and was ready to look again. This time we saw only four homes, he made an offer and closed on a $1,600,000 home in Coconut Grove. Thank goodness for the automatic eNewsletter!
